3 things you need to know to keep your bones strong!

There are three things that prevent fragility fractures.

#1. Strength and structure of your bone—your skeletal strength

#2. Your physical or muscle strength

#3. Your balance

All three can and do contribute to preventing fragility fractures.  

Per your skeletal strength, you want to know your trabecular bone density. A trabecular bone scan or TBS tells us the quality of the bone and its strength.
